1 minute

A1 (Elementary) A2 (Pre-Intermediate) Teens Speaking

Students first look at a picture showing people doing various activities. After 1 minute, they close the picture or it disappears from the screen. Then, they make and answer the questions using the Present Continuous tense (e.g., “What is the girl with the red dress doing?”).

Aim: To develop students’ ability to describe ongoing actions using the Present Continuous while training their visual memory and attention to detail.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Use of Present Continuous in context.

  • Improved memory and attention.
