This lesson uses the popular anime series "Attack on Titan" as a thematic backdrop to teach and practice English modal verbs. 

The tasks in the lesson include:

• Picture Analysis and Questions: Students look at images and answer questions about what is happening.
• Dialogue Comprehension: Students read conversations between characters like Eren and Armin and then answer questions that reinforce the understanding and usage of modal verbs.
• Sentence Completion: Students complete sentences by selecting the correct modal verb (must, can, can't, might, should) to fit the context.
• Sentence Transformation: Students transform given sentences into questions or negative statements using appropriate modal verbs.
• Creative Sentence Continuation: Students imagine themselves as members of the Survey Corps and complete sentences with their own ideas, likely employing modal verbs.
• Motivational Statements: Students practice creating motivational phrases using "We must…," "We should…," "You might…," "We can…," and "They can’t…" in the context of the "Attack on Titan" world.
• Scenario Discussions/Writing: Students discuss or write their thoughts on various scenarios as a Survey Corps member, using modal verbs to express obligations, possibilities, advice, and abilities. Scenarios include survival strategies, reacting to new information, and training for the Survey Corps.
• Caption Creation: Students create captions for pictures using modal verbs.
