
Students read facts about a penguin character named Moon. Each sentence ends with “And you?”, encouraging students to respond with personal information.
Example: “I’m 10 years old. And you?” / “I live in the snow. And you?”
Aim: To practice structures for talking about oneself and asking/answering basic personal questions.
Learning Outcomes:
Improved fluency in speaking about personal information.
Ability to answer basic questions.
How to Use:
In pairs: Students take turns reading Moon’s sentences and responding with their own.
Individually: In 1-1 lessons, students can read and reply orally or in writing.
In groups: One student reads Moon’s part, others take turns answering.
