Students are shown the beginning of a story (with an image, a sentence, or both) related to winter or Christmas. They continue the story using their imagination.

Aim: To develop storytelling skills and narrative writing/speaking using seasonal vocabulary.

• Practice in narrative tenses and linking ideas.

• Increased creativity and imagination.

• Improved ability to structure a story.

How to Use:

• Individually: Write or speak their version.

• In pairs/groups: Take turns adding parts to the story.
