Black Boxes is an interactive grammar revision game designed for A1–B1 learners. Students complete a variety of grammar tasks and then choose a mystery “black box” containing hidden points — positive or negative!

The activity includes:

• Fill-in-the-gap exercises

• Sentence transformations (negative, questions)

• Error correction

• Multiple choice tasks

• Short speaking challenges

After completing each task correctly, students select one of the hidden point boxes. Points can range from small rewards to big bonuses. The student with the highest number of points at the end wins.
