Colours Everywhere!

A1 (Elementary) Vocabulary Kids

This engaging A1 lesson introduces young learners to eight basic colours through a fun, story-based adventure with friendly monsters. Students help bring colours back to the monsters' world while learning to recognise, name, and use colour vocabulary in meaningful contexts. The lesson develops listening, speaking, reading, and early writing skills through interactive games, movement activities, and repetition.

Learners practise the target language through matching, colouring, memory games, listening tasks, classroom scavenger hunts, and question-and-answer activities. By the end of the lesson, students can confidently identify colours, ask and answer "What colour is this?", and say "It's..." and "I like..." using complete sentences.
