10 questions

A1 (Elementary) A2 (Pre-Intermediate) Kids Teens

Students are presented with 10 cards, each displaying a general, everyday question (e.g., “Where do you live?”). Students respond orally.

How can you use this activity?

  • Students say random numbers from 1-10, choose a card and answer the questions.
  • Students work in pairs. After that they tell others what they've learned about their partners.
  • Students write their answers on a piece of paper. The teacher counts 1-3 and everyone shows their answers and compare/discuss.

Aim: To develop fluency in answering simple personal questions and build confidence with foundational English grammar and vocabulary.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Fluency in everyday Q&A interactions.

  • Self-expression and vocabulary review.

  • Listening and comprehension if used in peer exchanges.
