Students are presented with 10 cards, each displaying a general, everyday question (e.g., “Where do you live?”). Students respond orally.
How can you use this activity?
- Students say random numbers from 1-10, choose a card and answer the questions.
- Students work in pairs. After that they tell others what they've learned about their partners.
- Students write their answers on a piece of paper. The teacher counts 1-3 and everyone shows their answers and compare/discuss.
Aim: To develop fluency in answering simple personal questions and build confidence with foundational English grammar and vocabulary.
Learning Outcomes:
Fluency in everyday Q&A interactions.
Self-expression and vocabulary review.
